LFA goes to the Poll on Saturday....
The Liberia Football Association will this Saturday April 14, 2018 go to Election to elect its new coups of officers to run the Association for the next four years.
A released state that the Local Football house and its Executive members will vote on Saturday for three top position at the LFA.
Those vacancy are the Position of President of the Liberia Football Association, Vice President of Administration at the local football house and vice President of operation at LFA as well as EC members.
Outgoing LFA President Musa Bility look to step aside after two terms in office and the Srimex oil and Gas Company business man would be replace by one of the three candidates shortlisted for the Liberia Football Association Top seat.
Those inline to replace Liberia business man Musa Bility are as follow!!
Liberia Football Association first division Champion LISCR FC President Mustapha I. Raji.
Former Invincible Eleven (IE) defender George Solo and Current LFA Vice President for Administration MUSA Shannon.
All three candidates was given the greenlight last week to contest the much converted Presidential Election.
After they were all scrutinized by members of the Association's Electoral Committee board headed by LFA Election Commission boss Saifuah Mai Gray.
Also given the clear out to contest the LFA election for the position of Vice President of Administration and operation were seven Candidates.
And out of the seven Candidates vying for the VPA and VPO position four of them were qualify to contest for the LFA Vice President for Administration, while the remaining three candidates will fight for the Vice President for operation slot at the LFA.
Those qualify to contest the VPA position are Current LFA vice president for operation and barrack young controller President Sekou W. Konneh.
Executive Committee Member Ciatta Bishop Invincible Eleven (IE) President Sekou Keita and first division club Nimba United President Saye -Taylor A Dolo.
For the position of VPO qualified Contestants are EC Member and chair on Competitions at the LFA, Ansu VS Dulleh.
J Allen Klayee - President of Second division club Jubilee FC and Wilmot F Smith former president of disbanded Gardnersville outfit Georgia FC.
The much talk about Liberia Football Association Election takes place this Saturday at the Premier hall of Liberian Football the Samuel Kayon Doe Sports Complex( SKD) beginning at 9:00 am.
Meanwhile Judie Seton was named as the only qualified candidate to contest for the female slot of the Executive Committee at the LFA.
At the same time ahead of the controversial and mouth watering Election female football administrator Rochelle woodson who was hoping to be the lone women soldier in the race pull out ,after she file a complain to FIFA General secretary Fatma Samoura about the intervention of outgoing LFA President Musa Bility who she said would manipulate the electoral process.
Bility reign has been plague by Corruption with one of the many allegations that his administration misappropriated US 50,000 FIFA fundings to help combat the deadly Ebola virus epidemics.
Out of the three Presidential candidates vying to replace Musa Bility two of the aspirant has a vice knowledge of football experience given the fact that Solo and Musa are former Lonestar players,while Mustapha could count on his soccer administrative CV to slash out is Competitors.
Like Raji all three candidates has vow to transformed Liberian football under their administration.
Let see who win the election on Saturday expected to last less than an hour.
According to report the result which is expected to be announced immediately after the voting process,may not stand base on the fact if counts against the Liberia Football Association on interference and irregularities are to be believed by the Court of attributions of sports (CAS) on a complain file by one of the contestant Rochelle Woodson who deliberately withdrew because of the LFA intervention in the election.
