Dauda Bortu sign for FK Mjolner Narvik in Norway...

The Liberian forward return to active football following a year break away from the game.

The 22- year old sign for FK Mjolner on Wednesday in a one and a half year deal worth an undisclosed fee

bringing an end to his 15- months club barrenness.

The transfer that include an option for extension base on performance related clause comes after a difficult few months in Norway for the former Baerum SK forward.

Who had to sit one year-three months unattached, before getting himself back into competitive football.

I have no word to describe the moment that I have live and feel.

Thanks to my manager who help make this so special for me, I also give praise to God for making this happen.

For Mjolner it is a big club and family with ambition which am so excited to be part of and hoping to work hard in doing my best so that the team can archive its goals.

Moreover iam happy to return to football, wish are really miss a lot, Dauda told club website.

For his part Mjolner coach Rune Marthinussen hail praise on the Liberian forward calling he a great hero and a perfect addition to the Narvik team.

He is a great addition to our team and provide us a lot of options in attack Marthinussen said.

Dauda Bortu who is capped one time by the Liberia National team will wear the club #14 shirt after putting pen to paper in contract that last until October 2019.

Born to a Liberian parent in Monrovia Dauda was rise in Norway and contain the Norwegian citizenship he had play almost his entire soccer life in Norway with SK baerum,since joining the club youth in 2008 and later gain promotion to the club first team.

Bortu days with baerum came to an end after the club decided not to renew his contract in January 2017 after mutual agreement.

FK Mjolner Narvik is a Norwegian football club that currently participate in the 3rd tier of Norwegian Football.

The club have play in the lower league since it relegation in 2015 from the second division.

The Narvik base club had previously participated in the top -tier of Norwegian football in 1972 and 1989.
