Valerenga sign Sam Johnson. ....

Norwegian topflight club Valerenga has completed the signing of Liberian international Sam Johnson for an undisclosed  fee believed to be in the region of 4.5 million euros.

The 24 years old put pen to paper in a three and a half year deal with the Norwegian outfit on tuesay after completing his medical examination.

Sam johnson last play for chinese second tier club wuhan zall after departing swedish topflight club Djurgaden in 2016 for a reported money dumper deal.

Despite being chase by several topflight European clubs including Russian trio Cska Moscow , Sparta Moscow and UFA as well as Scottish giant Celtic Spanish side Servilla and French outfit Bordeaux among others after a remarkable  season in Sweden.

In djurgaden Sam Johnson managed to boost the net 17 Times in 41 appearances in his one and the half season stay in the Swedish topflight before moving to China.

With wuhan zall the former Nimba FC and IFK freij striker score 12 goals in 26 appearances before falling behind in the club pecking order and was force to drop to the club reserves basic upon the Chinese League restriction on the number of foreign player to a specific team.

And he was drop behind wuhan zall Front three that include club top scorer Bolivian Marcelo Martin Moreno, Ivorian forward Jean Evrard kouassi and the club new recruit Brazilian born Croatian Jorge sammir.

His last match for wuhan zall came on July 8, 2017 in a 1-0 win over meizhou hakka.

Meanwhile the Liberian striker was unveiled at the Norwegian club on Tuesday at it training ground the stadio arena and was handed the club Number 10 shirt.

And the former Nimba FC, IFK Freij and wuhan zall forward is expected to make his debut on March 12, 2018 when the Norwegian League restart.
