LFA resumed Football activities this weekend.....
Football activities will finally resumed this weekend across the Country in various Categories that includes Female Soccer LFA youth domestic League as the LFA 3rd division playoff.
Despite the huge hang over as to weather the LFA 3rd division playoff will go ahead as plan by the local football house with reports coming from the South eastern region that few clubs have hreatened to boycott the event due to the timing of their respectively schedule.
The clubs said most of their players are currently gearing up with their respective counties ahead of the country biggest sporting festival the National County Sports meets which kickoff on December 2.
According to a dispatched from the Competitions director of the Liberia Football Association Mathew diggs said the Competition will go ahead as planed despite the huge uncertainty over the Southeastern clubs participation.
Mr.diggs further lamented that football activities in the Country will finally resumed on Saturday November 11th in the various categories that includes the much talk about LFA 3rd division playoff the youth domestic League and women Football.
The Competitions director of the LFA added that Clubs who threatened to Boycott the event will be withdraw from the Competition which he state will still goahead as plan.
Mr.diggs Concluded that fixture of the long awaited 3rd division playoff has been released and the Competition will Commenced at various venues across the Country as well as the Women football National League which until at the Tusa field Sport pitch in Gardnerville.
Meanwhile football activities in the country which was put on hold due to the heavy loaded political season that saw Liberian going to the polls to elect a new leader that will replaced Africa first female ahead of state president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will finally return to actions this weekend in various categories that includes Women football and the 3rd division playoff at various venues across the Country.
