Vincent Djibril Mawama was born in Monrovia to a Liberian parents but was taken to Sweden by his Aunt in 1995 along with his brother and sister after the Civil War broke out in Liberia.
The hard working and promising Liberian Midfielder is Currently Showcasing his Soccer trade in the Swedish first division Sodra with Husquarna DF.
The 26 years old Liberian Midfielder has turned down a chance of representing the Congolese under-20 National Team after declaring to them him is a Liberian and want to play for Liberia.
The Liberian Midfielder Vincent mawama has also turn down serious approach from the Swedish Football House calling on him to Switch his Nationality and represents them the Midfielder however disagree with them indeed awaiting a called up to the Liberia National Team some day.
